In any life-threatening emergency, call national emergency services FIRST: 112 (police, fire, ambulance — all India). Then call us: +91 70046 48283 — our building and night teams are on-ground 24×7 and will be moving before you hang up.
Save both numbers when you check in. For everything below, “call us” means that number — it is answered around the clock by the team that operates your building, not a call centre.
Medical Emergencies
- Call 112 (or 102 for ambulance) if the situation is serious.
- Call us immediately after — we’ll guide the ambulance to your exact building entrance, open access, and accompany you if needed.
- Several of Delhi’s major hospitals — Manipal, Venkateshwar, Aakash, Max — are minutes from our apartments; our team knows the fastest route to each emergency ward and can arrange transport for non-ambulance situations.
- If you’re staying with us for a family member’s treatment, tell our team the hospital at check-in — in an emergency we already know where you need to go.
Carry personal medical information (conditions, medications, insurance) where companions can find it — seconds matter.
Fire & Gas
Fire:
- Evacuate immediately using the marked exit routes — never the lift.
- Call 112, then us.
- Use the extinguisher only for a small, contained fire between you and your exit — never let fire block your way out.
Gas smell:
- Do not operate any electrical switch — on or off — and no flames.
- Turn off the cylinder regulator / gas valve if safely reachable, open windows, and leave the apartment.
- Call us from outside — our team responds immediately; call 112 if the smell is strong or spreading.
Locate your exits, extinguisher, and gas shut-off in your first ten minutes in the apartment. It costs one minute and it’s the minute that matters.
Security Concerns
Suspicious activity, attempted unauthorized access, theft, harassment, or any personal safety concern:
- Get to a secure space — lock the apartment door.
- Call 112 for police if there is any immediate threat. (Women’s helpline: 1091.)
- Call us — building staff respond on-site, and we handle escalation, documentation, and — if you no longer feel safe in that apartment — immediate relocation to another apartment in the portfolio.
Every incident is documented in writing, and we cooperate fully with police where involved.
Lockouts & Access
Locked out, lost key, or lock malfunction — at any hour:
- Call us; our building team holds secure access procedures for exactly this. spare-key custody with building manager / master-key protocol — and whether ID re-verification is required before re-entry.
- Never force the door or attempt entry through windows/balconies — a lockout is an inconvenience; a fall is an emergency.
Apartment Emergencies
Power failure, water supply failure, major leak, internet outage during a work-critical stay, AC/geyser failure in extreme weather, or any structural or electrical hazard:
Call or WhatsApp us directly — we are the property manager. Our own maintenance team responds, with urgent issues prioritised around the clock. Power backup covers essential supply in our buildings during outages; for anything beyond quick repair, we’ll move you to a comparable apartment in the portfolio rather than leave you in a non-functional one.
Natural Disasters & Major Disruptions
During floods, earthquakes, severe storms, or government-imposed restrictions: follow instructions from local authorities first — they override everything, including us. Our team will contact all in-stay guests proactively, coordinate building-level safety, support relocation where feasible, and handle affected bookings under our Force Majeure Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy.

What We Maintain So Emergencies Stay Rare
Every ValeStays apartment and building is kept to one safety standard, by us: working smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, marked and unobstructed exit routes, functional locks on all entry points, power backup, documented safety checks as part of pre-check-in inspection, and staff physically present at buildings day and night. Safety equipment issues found by guests are fixed on report — tell us the moment anything looks wrong; reporting is never penalised.

After Any Incident
Once everyone is safe: we document what happened, itemise in writing anything that affects your booking or deposit, assist with police or insurance documentation where relevant, and — where the apartment is affected — move you or adjust your booking per our policies. You will never be left to handle the aftermath alone; that’s the point of staying with an operator.
