At ValeStays, we strive to provide a smooth and transparent booking experience. We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly, and this Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the terms applicable to reservations made through our website or partner booking platforms.
By confirming a reservation with ValeStays, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Standard Cancellation Policy
Free Cancellation
Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge if the cancellation is made within the free cancellation period specified at the time of booking.
The applicable cancellation window may vary depending on:
- Property
- Room type
- Promotional offer
- Booking platform
- Seasonal demand
Please refer to your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation deadline.
Non-Refundable Bookings
Certain discounted or promotional rates are offered at special prices and are classified as Non-Refundable.
For these bookings:
- No refund will be issued for cancellations.
- No refund will be issued for no-shows.
- Date modifications may not be permitted.
Late Cancellation
If a reservation is cancelled after the free cancellation period has expired, cancellation charges may apply.
Depending on the booking terms, charges may include:
- One night’s accommodation charge
- Partial booking amount
- Full booking amount
The applicable charge will be mentioned during the booking process.
No-Show Policy
A reservation will be treated as a No-Show if the guest fails to arrive without prior notification.
For no-show reservations:
- The booking may be cancelled automatically.
- Applicable charges may include up to 100% of the booking amount.
- Refunds are generally not available.
Early Check-Out
Guests choosing to check out before the confirmed departure date may not be eligible for a refund for unused nights unless specifically approved by management.
Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, it will be processed through the original payment method used during booking.
Estimated processing times:
- UPI Payments: 2–5 business days
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5–10 business days
- Net Banking: 3–7 business days
- International Cards: 7–14 business days
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.
Booking Modifications
Guests wishing to modify their reservation (dates, duration, or property) should contact us as early as possible.
Modification requests are subject to:
- Availability
- Rate differences
- Applicable booking policies
Additional charges may apply.
Third-Party Bookings
If your reservation was made through:
- Booking.com
- Airbnb
- Agoda
- MakeMyTrip
- Goibibo
- Expedia
- Any other Online Travel Agency (OTA)
then the cancellation and refund policy of that platform will apply.
Guests should contact the respective platform directly for cancellations or refund requests.
Force Majeure
ValeStays shall not be held responsible for cancellations or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Epidemics or pandemics
- Civil unrest
- Flight cancellations
- Power or infrastructure failures
- Severe weather conditions
Refunds in such situations will be handled according to the applicable booking terms and legal requirements.
Security Deposit
Where applicable:
- Security deposits are refundable after check-out.
- Refunds are subject to a successful property inspection.
- Deductions may be made for damages, missing items, excessive cleaning, or policy violations.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds will generally not be available in the following cases:
- Non-refundable bookings
- No-show reservations
- Early departures
- Policy violations
- Damage to the property
- Incorrect guest information provided during booking
